The reaserch for this page is being done for work in my Investigating Minds class. Mnemonic Devices and Memory Palaces were studied in class and my interest in them inspired me to persue them in my conference work. I decided that my research could be put to specific use in that I could use various mnemonic devices in my classes that required me to memorize information. This paper contains an explaination of mnemonic devices and memory palaces, a discussion on their original uses in medieval and classical times, what makes information memorable, my personal experience, and links to other pages that invlove memory and mnemonics.
