A good journal, full of papers that would be useful for conference work. It includes papers on all facets of language arts learning and teaching. The age focus is preschool through middle school. It contains many book reviews and case studies. If you are thinking about gender, cultural issues and teaching practice spend some time investigating the contents of this journal. We don't have it online, but EBSCOHost provides the bibliographic records, so you can browse it electronically and order relevant articles through inter-library loan.
As the name implies this is a specialist and technical journal. It does have some good critical reviews, invited lectures (Miles lecture) and good research papers for conference topics. We have the PDF full text (with a six-month embargo).
