A doctor working in the Congo performed a life-saving amputation by following the directions of a colleague…delivered via text-message. I’ll have to pass this along to my mother the next time she gives me crap about excessive texting.

WWEKD?
There are times when, two hours before an essay is due, I find myself floundering. My commas are all misplaced. My attention is drifting away from my thesis statement. Semicolons are going where God never intended for semicolons to go. Verbs aren’t matching up with subjects, possessives aren’t getting the apostrophes they so desperately require, and I’m beginning to BS on an epic scale to make up for the fact that I’ve completely forgotten what I’m supposed to be writing.
That is the point where I bring out the big gun: WWEKD?

Yep, definitely that time of year again.
If you’ve tried to visit the NaNoWriMo site in the past few hours, you may have noticed that it has crashed like the Hindenberg colliding with the Titanic. (Not that I totally called it, or anything.) It should be up again soon.
