Our 11th President,
Cristle Collins Judd
Sarah Lawrence Magazine—Fall 2017
With this issue, we welcome our 11th president, Cristle Collins Judd. In recognition of President Judd’s unconventional rise to the chief executive’s office at this most unconventional college, we look to members of our community who also demonstrate oh-so-Sarah-Lawrence leadership styles. From Hollywood to the Guggenheim, from the Congo to the Catskills, from DC to NYC to SLC, they take on challenges and opportunities in diverse and dynamic ways.

Good Work & Good Fortune
For many years, the editors of Sarah Lawrence magazine have had the very good fortune to partner with Hannah Fichandler of Taylor Design in Stamford, Connecticut, in creating this award-winning publication. So we’re proud to share the happy news that the Connecticut Art Director’s Club selected the spring 2016 issue for its highly competitive show. At the 42nd annual gala in June, “Finding Courage” was presented the silver award for periodicals—a category that includes corporate, institutional, and public service organizations.
